Accredited Registrar of .in Domains
INdomains.net is an accredited registrar of the country code top-level domain .IN.
A country code top-level domain (ccTLD) is an Internet top-level domain generally used or reserved for a country or sovereign state.
NIXI, the National Internet eXchange of India is a Not-for-Profit Company under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act, 1956, with the objective of facilitating improved Internet services in India.
Under NIXI, the INRegistry functions as an autonomous body with primary responsibility for maintaining the .IN ccTLD and ensuring its operational stability, reliability, and security. It will implement the various elements of the new policy set out by the Government of India and its Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
INRegistry does not carry out registrations itself. Instead, it accredits registrars through an open process of selection on the basis of transparent eligibility criteria. INdomains.net is one of these accredited registrars.
A full list of accredited registrars can be found on INregistry’s site.
